The Media Lions Club members have been working together since 1946 and serious about their commitment to humanitarian services. We are part of the world’s largest and most active service club organization with over 1.4 million men and women active in more than 43,000 Lions Clubs in over 180 countries around the world. Every Lion is dedicated to community services and improvement.
Some of the achievements of Lions International since 1917 are:
· §A worldwide blindness prevention program

§Establishment and operation of eye
banks resulting in approximately
10,000 sight-restoring cornea transplants a year.

§Provide millions of young people
with the tools to make responsible decisions
regarding drugs, alcohol and other threats to a
healthy future.
· §Support services to the blind, including guide dogs and white canes as well as the deaf and diabetics.
· §Support to hospitals, clinics, playgrounds, parks and thousands of facilities that enhance our communities.
· §The Media Lions Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Towne House in Media.
